Words Upon Release

Hmm, the book will be released the day after tomorrow. I thought I should write a few words to mark the occasion, so here I am.

First, let me talk about the update schedule after the release. Naturally, there will be a burst of updates starting the day it goes live—about five chapters a day, no less.

After the initial launch, the daily updates will depend on how things go. If the initial subscriptions exceed five hundred, I’ll maintain three updates a day. If they surpass a thousand—which is quite unlikely since hitting a thousand initial subscriptions is very difficult—then I’ll update four times daily.

As for additional chapters beyond that, the system is simple and follows the usual rules: for every 10,000 platform coins (about 100 yuan) in tips, I’ll add one more chapter, with no upper limit. If someone like a Silver Guild Leader appears, the updates will naturally become even more frequent—though that’s even less likely than hitting a thousand initial subscriptions.

This is my very first Pokémon fanfiction, so there might be some amusing or awkward mistakes here and there. I hope readers will kindly point them out. I always do my best to research thoroughly before writing to minimize errors. I also want to thank my editor, Penglai. Although this book’s performance is far behind other Pokémon fanfictions, Penglai has given me many opportunities. Unfortunately, my writing skills aren’t quite up to par, so aiming for a top-tier ranking is out of reach.

Finally, what I want to tell is a story about a trainer’s gradual growth, the bonds formed with Pokémon, and joyful adventures with friends—a tale about growing up.

As for the heroine, I haven’t quite decided yet. So there won’t be any spotlight or special aura around her. I want to portray them as they truly are. Who knows what the heroine will turn out to be?
