Side Story 006: November Summary

A belated summary, several days late.

During the first month after the book went premium, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic!

First place in monthly votes for a new book!

I never even dared to imagine it before.

Thank you all!!!

Now, let me talk about one of those happy problems: the monthly-vote update debt.

Our previous agreement was that every 500 monthly votes would earn one additional chapter. At the time, I was writing two chapters a day, each a little over 2,000 words, so that was the basis for the calculation.

In November, we received a total of 16,896 monthly votes, which means I should have added approximately 66,000 words. I have already paid back 20,000 words, leaving 46,000 words still owed.

To avoid confusion in the future, we will calculate by word count instead: every 1,000 monthly votes will earn an additional 4,000 words.

This world has only just begun to lift its veil. There is still plenty of exciting content ahead, so stay tuned.

Below is the list of people to thank. These are the top thirty on the reader leaderboard—the only ranking I can still view. I can no longer see everyone’s monthly-vote or recommendation-vote contributions from last month, so I cannot list and thank each person individually...
