Totem King Little Demon Fu 2348 words 2026-03-05 00:31:33

This totem was peculiar in appearance, towering more than three meters tall, its body as round and inflated as a ball, covered in a layer of pale yellow fur and lacking a tail.

Its two forepaws seemed to be encased in crimson leather gloves, each as large as a washbasin. Its legs, bare like those of a human, ended in only two long toes.

“Meow!”

The little fox let out a cry, its fur bristling, warily eyeing the strange creature.

Charles was visibly shocked, exclaiming, “You… you’re actually a Level Two Spirit Master? And what is the Imperial Security Management Division?”

“Sorry, I hid my identity earlier to get close to you. After interacting with you, I realized you pose no threat to ordinary people, so I’ve specially invited you to join the Security Division,” Daniel said, rubbing his hands, his face glowing with pride. “Look, this is my main totem, the Crimson Fire Monkey. Thanks to the Division’s resources, it’s nearly reached ultimate evolution!”

“Amazing! My main totem, Firefly, is still at Level One. I can never gather enough resources to help it evolve,” Charles replied, eyes full of envy as he reached out to calm the flustered white fox.

Daniel’s eyes sparkled. Smiling, he said, “Brother, I saw you spending money on discarded battle beasts and knew you must be short on funds… I’m not mocking you, just telling you I was just as poor once.”

“When I first became a Spirit Master, I nearly spent my family’s fortune and still couldn’t raise a totem. It wasn’t until I joined the Security Division that things changed. There, you can earn resources by completing tasks. If you work hard enough, even ultimate evolution isn’t just a dream!”

“Come on, join us—fight alongside me!”

Charles listened in a daze, finally responding, “That sounds really good—by the way, aren’t you going to help those people?”

He pointed to the side, where someone had been knocked to the ground by a plant monster, their mouth blocked by a thick branch, struggling desperately.

“You’d better grab a weapon and join the fight. These plant monsters are weak!” Daniel said no more, quickly commanding his rotund totem to rescue the victim.

Despite its heavy appearance, the beast moved with the agility of a monkey. It picked up a stone and smashed a plant monster, then leaped forward, landing a punch that blew the creature apart!

Then it drew a deep breath, its round belly swelling even larger, before spewing a torrent of red liquid—a miniature rainstorm that drenched more than a dozen plant monsters. Flames erupted, reducing them all to ashes.

The Crimson Fire Monkey, seized by fury, was like a ferocious boxer wearing gloves, attacking all nearby plant monsters. Each punch killed one, its power terrifying.

At the heart of the battle, the fight between Yolanda and Leslie grew ever more intense.

Yolanda used some mysterious method; her vine totem suddenly expanded several times, dozens of meters-long vines occupying vast swathes of the manor.

Even more frightening, living plants hurled themselves at it like moths to a flame, only to be devoured and further swell its size.

Leslie, once evenly matched, was suddenly overwhelmed. No matter how strong he was, his punches could no longer demolish the gaping mouths of the vines.

Vines encircled him, forming a green prison. No matter how he fought inside, he couldn’t break free.

His strength was formidable; fists and kicks left deep marks in the meters-thick prison. But that was all he could achieve—the green prison grew ever smaller, compressing his space bit by bit.

Roar!

Seeing he was in mortal danger, Roddy immediately directed Little Black to charge in and attempt a rescue.

Little Black now stood over three meters tall, its body jet-black, as if cast in steel, resembling the monsters often seen in science fiction films.

“This is the future’s so-called King of Strength—the most powerful totem, and already it shows its might,” Charles said, slashing down a plant monster and observing the black beast.

Its strength was equal to Leslie’s. Its sharp forepaws tore through vines with ease, gripping and wrenching them apart, even snapping them.

Leslie tried to escape, but more vines appeared, forming a massive sphere that violently hurled the black beast away.

“Fine. I didn’t want to use what those people gave me, but it seems I have no choice now,” Leslie said, calm within the prison, withdrawing a strange pale red cube from his waist and pressing it hard into his chest.

The fist-sized cube was forced into his flesh, accompanied by a bizarre swallowing sound. Blood-red light swiftly spread across its surface, flowing like water over his body, until he was clad in a ferocious humanoid armor.

Sharp bone blades protruded from his arms, back, legs, and feet; his fingers transformed into cold, gleaming claws.

“I dislike it, but this thing does double my attack power. Now, let me give you a taste, you filthy, foolish whore!” he roared, slicing through vines with ease, sending countless fragments flying as he carved out a giant passage and strode free.

Yolanda remained silent. The vine sphere, now five meters in diameter, split open, its vines writhing and forming a staircase beneath her feet, allowing her to descend inside.

Layer upon layer of vines closed, like petals folding, enveloping her seductive figure completely.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Vines, as thick as giant snakes, rolled and writhed across the ground, their length surging past a hundred meters, covering most of the manor. Grotesque mouths swallowed every surviving ordinary person in a single gulp.

“You really deserve to die! How can there be someone like you—a murderous, rampaging monster—in this world?” Roddy’s eyes widened. He had tried to save these people, but not a single one survived.

One after another, before his very eyes, they were swallowed, devoured—leaving not even a shred of bone behind.

Hundreds of lives vanished, his fury boiling until his eyes were blood-red.

Roar!

The black beast, once tangled in vines, let out a thunderous roar. Its body, over three meters long, abruptly surged to five meters. Its tail sprouted sharp bone spines, savagely tearing through the vines and charging at the heart of the vine sphere.

Charles stealthily hid where the vines could not reach, a smile curling at his lips. “Interesting. I wonder how you’ll fare against this plant totem, which has already achieved ultimate evolution!”
