Chapter 93: The Lure

“Is there an enemy nearby?” Chu Ning asked thoughtfully. Tanya was clearly searching for something at the moment, and given their present situation, they might have been spotted by rivals.

The bald man actually used pure strength to slow the truck’s momentum. He tightened the iron cables connected to the truck, and with the assistance of the other vehicles around him, he successfully pinned it in place.

The truck’s tires scraped across the ground, kicking up wisps of white smoke, yet its engine could not break free from the restraints of so many people. It was truly a helpless sight.

From the distance, a black motorcycle streaked forward, evading with effortless grace the attacks meant to stop it to the truck. The rider was shrouded in a pitch-black cloak, with no clear features visible, but from the way they dodged the attacks, their skill was certainly impressive.
