Gu Sihui felt a sense of relief, as if returning to her mother’s embrace. She gradually stopped crying and fell into a deep sleep in Luan Yingyu’s arms. Luan Yingyu exhaled in relief, winking at Shao Feichen and Teng Qu, proudly declaring, “Problem solved.”

“What did you do to her?” Shao Feichen’s expression darkened, and the murderous intent on Teng Qu’s face suddenly intensified.

“For what? For killing the donkey after it’s done its work?” Luan Yingyu stared at the two who had suddenly changed their faces, indignantly protesting, “I just helped you subdue this madwoman!”

Shao Feichen walked over, lifting Princess Gu Sihui into his arms. Seeing her rosy complexion and calm expression, he finally relaxed.

“This is our business; no outsiders need to interfere.”

With this cold remark, Shao Feichen turned away without a trace of reluctance and left together with Teng Qu.

After they left, Luan Yingyu rose from the ground, brushing the dust off his clothes.

“That woman seems quite different from the rumors,” Luan Yingyu said, lazily draping his hand over Zhu Musheng’s shoulder, his feigned obedience vanishing as a malicious smirk curved his lips.

Zhu Musheng said nothing. His shoulder twitched as he shrugged off Luan Yingyu’s overly familiar touch.

Luan Yingyu staggered slightly, his cruel smirk vanishing instantly. He snapped, “Hey, what’s wrong with just leaning on someone?”

“I have some things to handle; I’m leaving first,” Zhu Musheng said coldly, then strode away, vanishing in a few swift leaps without a trace.

“Hmph, so cold and unfeeling,” Luan Yingyu muttered angrily under his breath, “No wonder you have no wife!”

Inside the ancient castle.

Gu Sihui slowly woke, surrounded by four handsome faces and eight eyes staring at her, causing a cold sweat to break out all over her.

She had been wondering why she’d been having recurring nightmares of being watched—turns out she really was under surveillance!

Teng Qu was the first to notice her awakening. He reached out to help her sit up.

Gu Sihui’s expression instantly turned cold as she dodged his hand. “Don’t touch me.”

Teng Qu’s face darkened suddenly, his thin lips pursed tightly.

His already pale lips turned even paler under the pressure, but Gu Sihui saw no trace of pity in her eyes.

She hadn’t forgotten that this scoundrel had just tried to kill her!

Gu Sihui’s gaze swept over the four faces before her, a self-mocking smile playing on her lips. “You all want to kill me, don’t you?”

The air was silent; none of the four men spoke first.

Gu Sihui’s sarcasm deepened: “But you don’t dare.”

She gave them no chance to respond and continued coldly, “Because our marriage still exists. If you kill me, you’ll die too.”

The men’s expressions turned grim, but Gu Sihui pretended not to see. “As long as I don’t divorce, you’ll never get rid of me.”

“Gu Sihui, how can you be so vicious!”

Shao Feichen, the most impulsive, couldn’t hold back his anger and was the first to lash out.

Gu Sihui didn’t care, casually scratching her ear. “I’m tired of all this viciousness every day. Haven’t you updated your vocabulary yet?”

“You…” Shao Feichen was at a loss for words, his face flushing red.

Gong Zhengci gave Shao Feichen a pinch, his icy gaze falling on Gu Sihui. His small mouth twisted with venom, “Why waste words on her? Given the thickness of her skin, even if you curse her a thousand or ten thousand times, she’ll remain unfazed.”

Gu Sihui remained unmoved. She lifted her eyes to sweep over their angry gazes and suddenly smiled brightly. “You all want a divorce from me, right?”

At her words, the anger in their eyes faltered. Ying Nian couldn’t help but sneer coldly, “So what if we do? It’s not like just saying it means you’d agree to divorce.”

The other three men’s hopeful glimmers in their eyes slowly faded.

“Well, what if I do?” Gu Sihui tempted with patience, “If you don’t say it, how would you know I won’t?”

Shao Feichen, unable to resist the bait, immediately said, “I want to!”

“Fine.”

The four beast husbands exchanged glances, none having expected this malicious woman who clung to them and refused to divorce would actually agree to it.

Ying Nian was the second to lose control. He jumped up, pressing Shao Feichen’s head down to push him aside, then eagerly revealed the first smile to Gu Sihui: “Divorce, I’ll be the first to divorce you!”

Gu Sihui smiled but said nothing, turning to the slower Teng Qu and Gong Zhengci: “What about you two?”

Gong Zhengci finally came to his senses, but his suspicious nature remained. He scrutinized Gu Sihui, “Do you really agree to divorce us?”

“Believe it or not, it’s up to you,” Gu Sihui shrugged, “Anyway, I’ll divorce them all. You staying behind is just perfect to protect me.”

She paused, then suddenly gave Gong Zhengci a wicked smile, silently mouthing: “Let’s lock ourselves together for life, hus—band—”

Gong Zhengci shuddered with disgust and instinctively wanted to leave. Just as the words were about to escape his lips, his eyes suddenly became confused.

In his gaze, innocence and mischief warred as if fighting for territory.

Because of this, Gong Zhengci missed the chance to speak third. Teng Qu looked at Gu Sihui seriously: “If you’re willing to divorce, I can temporarily set aside my thoughts of harming you.”

Gu Sihui nodded indifferently, about to reply when Gong Zhengci finally won the struggle and spoke before her: “Divorce, I want to divorce you!”

After saying this, he muttered irritably under his breath, “Damn bastard, what’s so good about this vicious woman? Why would you resist me for her?”

Gu Sihui’s eyes flickered, pretending not to hear.

“Fine, I can agree to all your divorce requests.”

Before Gu Sihui could say “but,” Shao Feichen eagerly interrupted, “Let’s go, we’re heading to the reproductive tower for the binding now!”

Shao Feichen reached out to grab Gu Sihui, but before she could dodge, another hand opened his grasp.

Ying Nian sneered coldly at Shao Feichen, “If you want a divorce, divorce me first. What’s the rush?”

Teng Qu silently observed everything, neither competing nor retreating—clearly queued up for the divorce.

Gong Zhengci glanced at the three quarrelsome men, then at the calm Gu Sihui sitting aside. He sensed something was off but couldn’t quite put his finger on it.

On the Beast God Continent, it wasn’t uncommon—indeed, it was quite frequent—for beast husbands to fight and scheme over the favor of their female masters.

However, because the female lead had a bad relationship with the four beast husbands and only favored Xi Mo, the other four got along reasonably well. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have wanted to kill the female lead upon learning that Gong Zhengqing had been sold.

Gu Sihui’s bait of “divorce” was not meant to sow discord among them anymore, but unintentionally, it bore fruit—and she wasn’t about to let the unexpected gain slip away.

Watching the flushed, angry faces glaring at each other, Gu Sihui’s clever mind began to churn again.

Perhaps she could push the “divorce” matter even further and use it as leverage to gain more benefits for herself.
