Chapter 130: Jealousy
The call came from Sagami Saori, inquiring where An and Chie Hoshino had gone early that morning.
Even through the phone, An sensed a hint of resentment in her tone—clearly some misunderstanding had occurred.
After hanging up, An looked at Chie Hoshino, shrugged helplessly, and said, “Can you still walk? If not, I’ll carry you. We need to hurry back; otherwise, those girls will definitely get the wrong idea.”
At his words, Chie’s cheeks flushed slightly.
She wanted to say she could manage, but the numbness in her thigh made it difficult even to stand.
Noticing the girl’s embarrassment, An had a rough idea of the situation. Without waiting for her consent, he crouched in front of her, patted her back, and said loudly, “Get on.”
After a brief hesitation, Chie nodded and gently leaned forward.
The softness pressed against An’s back made him draw a deep breath, clearing his mind of distractions. He stood up, wrapped his arms firmly around her thighs, and quickly headed down the mountain.
As the scenery shifted, his body swayed slightly under the weight. Since Chie was lying across his back, her ample assets inevitably pressed and deformed—a sight reminiscent of two flattened dough discs.
Despite that, the view remained impressive.
However, both An and Chie found it uncomfortable in their own ways.
For An, the sensation felt like tiny cat paws scratching at his heart.
For Chie, the pressure caused chest tightness that made breathing difficult.
Fortunately, the villa was not far from the mountaintop; in less than ten minutes, the two were back at the doorstep.
After setting Chie down, An pulled out his keys and opened the door.
Changing shoes in the entryway, he hadn’t even reached the living room when he sensed a cold gaze.
Looking up, he saw Sagami Saori sitting on the sofa in white pajamas, her hair draped over her shoulders, legs crossed, expressionless as she stared in their direction.
Their eyes met, and An suddenly felt a pang of guilt. Even Chie instinctively shrank her neck.
Luckily, Saori soon withdrew her gaze, stood up, greeted Chie briefly, and walked straight to the bathroom.
As for An, she didn’t spare him a glance.

Once Saori left, the oppressive atmosphere in the living room dissipated. An and Chie exchanged glances and both breathed a sigh of relief.
They stood there awkwardly for a moment until Chie, perhaps finding the silence too uncomfortable, found an excuse to lean against the wall and hurried upstairs.
The living room was left to An alone again.
Watching her disappear around the staircase corner, An’s gaze shifted toward the bathroom where Saori had gone. After hesitating briefly, he stepped over.
He knocked lightly on the door, and Saori’s cool voice answered from within.
“Who is it?”
“It’s me.”
An tried to turn the door handle, but to his surprise, it swung open.
Inside, the bathroom was thick with steam. Before An could get a good look, a cold female voice sounded beside him.
“You want it that badly?”
Turning his head, he saw Saori leaning against the corner with her arms crossed, as if she had been waiting there a long time.
Seeing him, the girl blinked, a meaningful smile playing on her lips. Her delicate hand tugged the sash of her robe gently, causing it to fall open completely.
Her pale skin, enveloped in an alluring glow, was exposed fully to An’s view.
His Adam’s apple bobbed involuntarily. Just as he was about to speak, Saori raised her hand again, slowly closing the bathroom door behind her and locking it.
The sound of the shower echoed throughout the bathroom. At the same time, a voice echoed in An’s mind.
[I admit you put up a strong fight for six hours straight last night, but now, facing Saori in her prime and having already fallen into her trap, how do you plan to respond?]
…
An hour later.
Only when Saori knocked on the door did they emerge from the bathroom, both faces flushed from soaking so long.
In the living room, Chie had already prepared lunch and was peeling shrimp for Eri Tachibana. Saori Saori yawned while her eyes kept drifting to her older sister.
“What are you looking at?” An asked curiously as he sat beside her.
“I’m admiring just how charming my sister is. After all, she managed to completely captivate someone even in broad daylight,” Saori Saori replied casually.
When Saori walked into the kitchen, Saori Saori lowered her gaze, glancing at her own modest chest with a sigh.
“So it seems, brother-in-law prefers the larger ones. By the way…”
Suddenly, a wary expression crossed the girl’s face. Her eyes lingered on Chie briefly before she leaned toward An and raised an eyebrow.
“You went out with Chie for over two hours this morning?”
“Yeah, we just went for a morning run,” An answered naturally.
Noticing the disbelief etched across Saori Saori’s face, he suddenly chuckled, reached out, and ruffled her head.
“Don’t tell me you think I was sneaking around with her?”
Saori Saori snorted coldly, turning her head away and pouting. “Isn’t that right? Besides, Chie’s got the goods too. I’ve already tried before you did. They’re so soft, like warm tofu.”
“Soft, my foot. Girls shouldn’t be so perverted,” An said, shaking his head in exasperation. He casually lifted Saori Saori’s golden hair from her back, running his fingers through it as he explained, “Chie and I just went running. When we reached the mountaintop, I was too tired, so I rested my head on her lap for a bit.”
“Good enough,” she muttered softly without turning around. She closed her eyes, letting her slender legs swing beneath the chair as she quietly enjoyed An’s grooming.
After a while, Sagami Saori entered the room carrying a pot of chicken soup.
She had prepared it earlier, intending to help An recover his strength, but after that grueling hour, she had realized the gap between them and decided to drink it herself.
“Hmm, not giving An any at all—so he won’t start thinking about other girls,” she thought, a faint smile crossing her lips.
It turned out that jealousy comes to everyone, but each person expresses it differently.
Nobue Ito pretended not to care, Reina Serizawa acted coquettishly, Yui Serizawa kept it to herself, Natsuko Kurorai sought immediate revenge, Saori Saori was straightforward and blunt, while Sagami Saori preferred other, subtler ways to assert her claim.
