Chapter Sixty: Maids Forever!

My Narration Is Not Very Serious The chime of the wind bell 2482 words 2026-04-13 15:08:00

Connecting the call, Anhe brought the phone to his ear, and Sato Haruki’s voice soon followed.

“Is this Anhe?”

“Yes, it’s me. Is there something you need, Mrs. Sato?”

Anhe asked directly, and on the other end, after a brief silence, Sato replied in a slightly apologetic tone, “It’s like this: for certain reasons, the shop will have to close for a while, so…”

The café is closing?

Anhe was surprised, but just as he was about to inquire further, the narrator’s voice abruptly sounded in his mind.

“It seems you've fallen into the trap after all, but it doesn’t matter. That woman, Orange Masami, wants to host a private concert, and you want to drive a luxury car. I’m sure her steering skills are excellent! But before that, you ought to arrange a place to live. Of course, if you don’t mind, you could do it right in front of her husband…”

How could you do that after someone died…

Anhe, who had wanted to make a sarcastic remark, suddenly fell silent.

It seems that perhaps the living aren’t the only ones who can see…

He shook his head to dispel this audacious idea, and as he glanced at his phone again, he had already guessed what the narrator meant by “Sato Haruki’s plot.”

Most likely, Orange Masami had noticed him playing the piano and found it intriguing, so she simply instructed Sato Haruki to make it easier for her to listen again in the future.

Now that they’d already had some interaction, there was no need for the café to serve as a bridge, so Sato just found a convenient excuse.

Anhe surmised that the closure was a pretext, and dismissal was the real reason.

Having figured it all out, he couldn’t help but feel a bit annoyed.

Wasn’t this a ruthless way to cut ties?

He pursed his lips and listened as Sato Haruki rambled on for a while longer before finally hanging up after repeatedly apologizing.

“Time to earn money again!”

With a sigh, Anhe tossed his phone aside and lay back on the sofa, hands behind his head, resuming his previous train of thought.

As for the manga, Nadeshiko and the others shouldn’t have any issues for now. He’d already arranged the story outline and character designs himself, so the rest was just a matter of following through.

For the light novel, Anhe ultimately decided to use “Sword Art Online.”

As a classic that had topped bestseller lists in Japan for years in his previous life, Anhe thought it would be a great choice to launch his name.

With the decision made, he rose from the sofa and headed quickly to the bedroom.

He grabbed a new notebook at random and began writing furiously at his desk.

He had read the original “Sword Art Online” light novel once in his previous life, so with the help of his “Memory Playback,” Anhe could simply copy it, without worrying about writer’s block or anything similar.

Time flew by. After cleaning up the dishes, Amamiya Sawu didn’t see Anhe in the living room and went to the bedroom.

Seeing him sitting at the desk writing, she didn’t disturb him and quietly left.

When she returned, she was carrying a bowl of steaming bone broth.

“Have some soup first,” Amamiya Sawu said, placing the bowl beside Anhe.

“Just a moment, I’m almost done.”

Without turning his head, Anhe continued typing, only putting down his pen when he finished that section.

Turning his head, he saw Amamiya Sawu sitting on the bed hugging her knees, watching him.

Her pose revealed her two snowy, beautiful legs and the elegant landscape between them, all falling under Anhe’s gaze.

“Ahem, Sawu, you’re exposed,” Anhe kindly reminded her, but upon hearing this, Amamiya Sawu merely blinked. Then, to Anhe’s surprise, she slowly spread her legs apart.

Instantly, her secret was completely revealed before Anhe’s eyes.

Black lace trim, with a faint slit in the center.

At a glance, Anhe felt his nose heat up and quickly looked away.

Seeing his reaction, Amamiya Sawu closed her legs again, her face flushed, hands nervously clenched together as she whispered, “Do you want to see more?”

His instinct was to agree, but just as the words reached his lips, an image of Amamiya Sawu in a maid outfit flashed through his mind. He immediately turned his head and, with hope in his eyes, asked, “Can you wear a maid outfit?”

Apparently not expecting this request, Amamiya Sawu was stunned for a couple of seconds before nodding, her face still red.

“You’ll need to turn around,” she said softly, already rising from the bed and walking to the wardrobe.

Though she had already confirmed her job at the café, she still made a habit of bringing her work uniform home.

As she opened the wardrobe and took out a blue-and-white maid outfit, Anhe turned back, picked up the bowl of hot bone broth, and drank it down.

After a few minutes, the rustling behind him stopped abruptly.

Is she done changing?

Anhe looked back and saw that Amamiya Sawu had indeed changed into the blue-and-white maid outfit.

Her slender, beautiful legs were now wrapped in white stockings, with a blush at the knees and a blue lace ribbon tied around her right thigh.

Her long black hair was styled into twin tails, topped with a white headband. With her delicate, blushing face, she looked impossibly cute.

“Sawu, you’re adorable!” Anhe sincerely praised. Hearing this, Amamiya Sawu blushed even more and hesitated before walking over with her head down.

“Let me give you a massage,” she said softly, placing her hands on Anhe’s shoulders. As she gently pressed, the pleasant sensation made Anhe swallow his words.

“Hiss—”

He drew a sharp breath and leaned back, resting his head between two lofty snow mountains, gazing up at Amamiya Sawu.

She blinked at him, then lowered her head.

“Mua~”

A brief touch and it was over.

Anhe licked his lips, instantly feeling revitalized, and bent over to continue his writing.

Behind him, Amamiya Sawu quietly massaged his shoulders.

Another hour passed. Realizing the strength of her massage had faded, and knowing she’d been at it for a whole hour, Anhe set his pen down and, to her surprise, scooped her up and sat her on his lap.

“All right!” Anhe said, placing his hands on her shoulders with a smile. “Now, it’s my turn to give you a massage.”

“No… it’s fine, really,” Amamiya Sawu tried to refuse, but Anhe was already moving.

His hands gently pressed, and Amamiya Sawu closed her eyes in comfort. Seeing this, Anhe increased the pressure.

A few minutes later, feeling the beauty in his arms completely relaxed, Anhe gazed into the deep valley of her snow-capped mountains and murmured, “Sawu, shoulder massages aren’t the most comfortable. I know somewhere even better. Would you like to try?”
