The bus stopped at the gates of Munan High School.

Students poured out, gazing up once more at the modern city of steel before them, struck by a sense of alienation, as if they had returned from another world. Though two days was not a long time, it brought these adolescents experiences unlike any before: their first time kindling a fire, their first time cooking together, their first time gathering late at night to share stories and laughter.

An He had gained much from these two days. First, Rena Serizawa’s affection for him broke through ninety, and then he made further progress with Nobue Ito. Neither had spoken openly, but An He sensed that, in a moment alone, if he wanted to do something with Nobue Ito, she would most likely not refuse. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have allowed his hands to become wet that night.

With this in mind, An He instinctively sought her out in the crowd, his lips curling into a mischievous smile. Was it true, then, that a woman nearing thirty who had never tasted sweetness would overflow like a flood?

As if sensing his gaze, Nobue Ito, who had been speaking with the other teachers, turned her head. Their eyes met, but she quickly looked away, though a blush spread across her neck.

Such a lovely reaction.

An He couldn’t help but marvel. But then he raised his brows, for suddenly, atop Nobue Ito’s head, a white screen appeared in his vision.

[Name: Nobue Ito]
[Current State: Anxious woman lost in the future]
[Current Favorability: 61 (Budding feelings)]
[Possible Endings:]
[① Love unfulfilled, a lonely soul fallen from grace. Condition: After intimacy, favorability reaches 90, then disappear completely from her world. (Reward: Master-level culinary skills)]
[② A forbidden love kept in the shadows. Condition: After intimacy, favorability reaches 90, uncertain final relationship, secret contact maintained. (Reward: A yacht identical to the one owned by Kotonoha Katsura)]
[③ An eternal romance. Condition: Defying others’ opinions, hold a grand wedding with her. (Reward: One revival opportunity, usable for anyone.)]

After reading the three options, An He withdrew his gaze, outwardly calm, but inwardly, waves of shock surged.

A chance to revive!

An He had always found the screen powerful, but he never imagined it could grant the ability to resurrect someone. The very thought quickened his breath.

No living thing is unafraid of death, and An He was no exception. Especially after drifting through twenty years in his previous life before being reborn, he cherished his existence all the more.

Moreover, this revival opportunity wasn’t limited to him alone.

Taking several deep breaths, he gradually suppressed his excitement. When he looked at Nobue Ito again, his gaze held new meaning.

...

When the bell rang, Sawa Amamiya rose from her seat.

She cleaned up as usual, then grabbed her handbag and left the classroom.

The hallway thronged with students, each face bright with joy as they grouped up for club activities. Compared to them, Sawa Amamiya seemed to belong to another world—solitary, silent, her expression unmoved by anyone.

Until—

At the gates, she saw that familiar figure.

He noticed her too, his eyes full of delight, waving his hand energetically in the air.

In an instant, as if the rain had cleared, a smile appeared on Sawa Amamiya’s face.

She slung her handbag behind her and walked slowly toward him.

When she drew near, before she could speak, his figure suddenly loomed large in her pupils.

The next moment, warmth pressed against her lips.

Sawa Amamiya froze, staring at An He’s eyes so close she could not react, and he had already breached her defenses.

The touch of his tongue startled her awake. Realizing the situation and feeling the shocked stares of the surrounding students, Sawa Amamiya’s cheeks flushed bright red. She reached out to push him away, but her efforts were fruitless.

After several failed attempts, she could only close her eyes and play the ostrich, slowly beginning to reciprocate.

After a long while, they separated.

Her lips parted, Sawa Amamiya breathed heavily in small gulps.

A crowd of students had gathered to watch.

Seeing this, her cheeks reddened even further.

“Let’s go home.”

She spoke softly, and took An He’s hand herself.

“Let’s go home,” An He replied, smiling.

Leaving the gates of North Academy, the two mounted a motorcycle and quickly returned to An He’s rented apartment.

The door opened; as soon as they stepped inside, Sawa Amamiya hadn’t even changed her shoes before An He tackled her from behind at the entrance steps.

“What are—”

Her words were cut off. Feeling An He’s heavy breaths, Sawa Amamiya simply closed her eyes, wrapped her pale legs around him from behind, and actively responded.

After several minutes, they parted.

A crystal thread broke between them, but An He did not get up. He braced himself above her, gazing down into Sawa Amamiya’s eyes.

After a moment, she asked gently, “Did something happen?”

Her delicate hand caressed An He’s face as she spoke.

Seeing her concern, An He shook his head, smiling as he explained, “Nothing happened. It’s just that after two days apart, I missed you so much.”

Her worry faded from her eyes, and a smile returned to her face.

“I did too.”

Her arms wrapped around his neck, her eyes closed, and she drew him in once more.

The two lingered at the entrance for over half an hour before finally moving to the living room.

She placed her handbag on the table, and together they sat on the sofa.

An He pulled Sawa Amamiya into his arms; she naturally rested her head on his chest, and they quietly savored each other’s presence.

“Sawa-chan,” An He spoke after a long silence. When Sawa Amamiya looked up, he hesitated, then bit his lip and asked, “If I told you that, while loving you, I also fell for another girl, what would you do?”

She was stunned at first, then lowered her head.

“Would you stop loving me because you fell for someone else?”

Her voice trembled, like a kitten afraid of being abandoned by its master. Yet soon, her chin was gently lifted.

Meeting her eyes, An He showed a sincerity he had never displayed before. He spoke, word by word: “Sawa-chan will always be the one I love most.”

“A real playboy’s words,” she murmured, but the sadness was gone from her face. Instead, she asked softly, “Is it Mrs. Kurorai and Serizawa?”

“It is... I suppose?”

An He sounded uncertain.

“I suppose?” Sawa Amamiya repeated, her gaze suddenly turning dangerous.

Seeing this, An He wanted to explain, but a small hand suddenly slipped into his trousers.

“Hiss~”

The future was gripped, and An He couldn’t help but draw a sharp breath.

But this was only the beginning, for in his vision, Sawa Amamiya slowly lowered her head.

The next moment, warmth and moisture swept over him...
